Product Description

CONSTRUCTION
•Type A tubing consists of a single wall extrusion of pelletized homopolymer or copolymer of polyamide containing additives that provide heat and light resistance.
•Type B tubing consists of a core extrusion with one or two layers of pelletized polyamide containing additives that provide heat resistance. The core is fiber reinforced using a spiral filament applied in each direction and sheathed with a protective layer of chemical resistant homopolymer or copolymer of poly-amide containing additives for heat and light resistance. The cover is fusion bonded to the core tube through the interstices of the spiral yarn reinforcement. The core tube and cover are of contrasting colors.

APPLICATIONS
•NAB150-Series polyamide tubing is for use in air brake systems. Non-reinforced tubing is designated Type A and reinforced tubing Type B. This tubing is intended for brake system connections that maintain a basically fixed relationship between couplings during vehicle operation.

Air Brake Systems: Chassis (Provide Stopping Power for Truck/Trailer)
Air Brake Systems: Brake Chamber (Provide Stopping Power for Truck/Trailer)
Tire Inflation Systems: Keeps Tires at Optimal Pressure
Air Ride Systems: Provides Air Suspension in Seat, Cab, and Vehicle

To Connect Fitting & Tubing:

1. Cut the air brake tubing squarely.
2. Make sure mating ports are free of any debris.
3. Insert the tubing past the O-Ring until the tubing bottoms out against the tube stop.
4. Check your connection by pulling on the tubing to ensure tubing is fully inserted.
To Disconnect Fitting & Tubing:
1. Press and hold the collet against the fitting body.
2. Pull the tubing out of fitting.
