Clean-Cuts Hydraulic Hose Cutting System
Innovative Cutting Technology
The Clean-Cuts system uses a patented toothed blade that cuts with the backs of the teeth rather than the tips. As the blade engages, it bends and stretches the hose, spreading the cut edges apart. This eliminates friction between the blade and hose walls, resulting in clean, cool cuts with virtually no heat buildup, no burning, no smoke, and no debris deposited inside the hose.

Problems with Traditional Methods
Conventional abrasive or standard saw blades compress the hose during cutting. When the compressed material rebounds against the blade, it creates intense friction, excessive heat, scorching, smoke, and kerf debris that often remains trapped inside the hose—compromising cleanliness and performance.

How Clean-Cuts Works
The hose rests across two support pins and is smoothly fed into the blade using a foot mechanism and an ergonomic pulldown handle (providing excellent leverage on heavy or large-diameter hoses). This controlled stretching action at the cut point allows the edges to separate cleanly as the blade passes through, preventing any contact friction.A built-in vacuum port connects to a shop vacuum to capture the minimal dust or light smoke that may occur. For added safety, the system features a 110V magnetic contactor switch that prevents unexpected restarts after power interruptions, plus a retractable blade guard that fully encloses the blade—even during operation.
